Delete Account or Personal Data

Uma Jewellers provides users with the option to request deletion of their entire account or specific personal data associated with our digital services. Requests can be made without uninstalling the app or deleting the account, where applicable.

How to Request Deletion

Send an email from your registered email address to:

jewellersuma@gmail.com

Use one of the following subject lines:

Account Deletion Request – Uma Jewellers

Partial Data Deletion Request – Uma Jewellers

Include the following information in your email:

  • Full Name
  • Registered mobile number or email
  • Details of the data you want deleted (for partial deletion)

Option 1: Full Account Deletion

If you request full account deletion, we will permanently delete:

  • User profile information (name, phone number, email)
  • Account login credentials
  • All personal data linked to your account

Option 2: Partial Data Deletion

Account Retained

If you request deletion of specific data while keeping your account active, we may delete:

  • Contact information (phone number or email)
  • Optional profile details
  • Non-essential personal records

The account itself will remain active unless full deletion is requested.

Data Retention

Certain information may be retained for a limited period if required for:

  • Legal or regulatory compliance
  • Internal audit or record-keeping purposes

Any retained data is securely stored and deleted once the required retention period ends.

Processing Time

Requests are typically processed within 7–14 business days after verification.
